NAND circuit with transistors

The NOT AND (NAND) operation is one of the most widely used logic elements. Its built into the so called NAND gates using electronic switches. With either the NOR function or the NAND function, all kind off different logic gates can be implemented. There is no formal logic function that can not be built up using those basic functions. This shows the importance of these functions, especially in computer technology. Only when both buttons are pressed, the LED will turn OFF.
